Liberia: deputy information minister flogged!

Good grief!

Deputy Information Minister Bernard Waritay has accused Police Director Chris Massaquoi of ordering his arrest and flogging on Sunday, but the Police Director has dismissed the allegation as "false and misleading". (source)
Waritay says the incident happened following a Liberia-Togo football match. He says his car was ahead of the convoy carrying the Liberian football players which was being led by the police director. Waritay says Massaquoi ran into the back of his car and they had a few words. Then a while later, according to Waritay, Massaquoi overtook his car and had him arrested and flogged.

Massaquoi says he wasn't even there when Waritay was arrested and flogged.

There's going to be an investigation.
