South Africa moving on anti-retrovial drugs

Cabinet today agreed to start making anti-retroviral drugs available to HIV positive people.

And yesterday, after two years of negotiations, South Africa signed a deal for US$41 million with the Global Fund to Fight AIDS to help make anti-retroviral drugs available to all. (Go look at the first post under Thursday for more on why this is a big deal ... sorry links still not working).
