India-Pakistan: more positive signs

A group of Indian lawmakers arrived in Pakistan today on a trip to "keep up a momentum for peace".
Hundreds of Pakistani parliamentarians, peace and political activists, including members of hardline Jamiat-e-ulema-e-Islam party of Fazal-ur-Rehman, greeted the delegation with slogans of "Long Live Pakistan-India friendship" at Wagah border crossing.

... The 40-odd Indian delegation, which also includes journalists, is a strictly non-government initiative, but the deputies are seen as carrying influence within their parties.
